At Café Free we have something for everyone. We are here to cater for people with coeliac disease, gluten and lactose intolerance. But those with no intolerances will also find a fresh, wholesome and heathy menu to choose from. So family and friends are welcome.

We aim to make good food that everyone can enjoy. We will be using smaller local suppliers and produce. With a regularly changing, diverse menu, made from fresh seasonal produce. Everything that we will be making in house will be gluten free and most will also be lactose free. We don’t have any traditional flour on site, so that will help avoid any cross contamination.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to provide our customers with a mostly gluten and lactose free dining experience. With today’s rise in dietary requirements there is a growing need for a café in Sydney that caters for those with these dietary requirements as well as those with a love for fine food. We also plan to use smaller local suppliers from around Sydney, NSW, Australia and sometimes New Zealand. When products are sourced from other countries we will use fair trade suppliers wherever possible. We want to be sustainable and environmentally friendly, using recycled / biodegradable takeaway containers, no docket machines, low energy lighting and minimal packaged items. Our menu will be regularly changing with focus on using fresh seasonal produce.

We have been developing our recipes over the last 15 years and take great pride in making sure that each and every dish tastes amazing, for everyone. Gluten and lactose intolerance is something that is very close to us.
