About Cafe Free

My mum and dad gave me the opportunity to open my own café, which of course I jumped at. We always knew that if we ever opened our own place it would be gluten and lactose free. So with that Café Free was born, a safe space for coeliacs and their families. 


First opening in Mosman 2015, we were the second dedicated gluten free cafe in Sydney to open. Offering a range of breakfast, lunch and cakes for those with coeliac disease. With an ever changing menu there is always something new and different to try. We fast become popular within the coeliac community, happy they could order everything off the menu and eat everything in the cake display. 

After 3 years in Mosman we decided that we needed to find a bigger space. So we packed up and moved to Neutral Bay. The bigger space meant we need to be a bigger family, so Peter and Tanya joined us in running the business, adding in their tastes and flairs to the café.

We have enjoyed out time in Neutral Bay but now its time to close our doors. It's a bitter sweet moment for us. The good news is that I will continue to bake amazing cakes for all my coeliac customers. There will be some slight changes to pick-up and delivery. We will continue to ask for 5 days notice for all orders. To order your next cake you can contacts via our website or through our social media.
